About the role
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position delivering high-quality patient care by following the nursing care plan, supervising ancillary staff, and supporting patient safety. The assignment is 12-hour night shifts for approximately three months.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week minimum
- Float rotation may be required
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Develop individualized care plans
- Actively participate in patient rehabilitation programs
- Initiate discharge planning
- Ensure effective communication of patient status
- Supervise ancillary staff
- Participate in team activities
- Maintain safety and professional development standards
Requirements
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only)
- Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience
- Current nursing licensure
