Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse - $2,007 per week

• Shift: 12H Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience required.
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required, must be detailed on profile.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification must be in hand at time of submission.
• Covid-19 and Flu vaccines are required; medical/religious exemptions only for Covid-19.
• Active compact or TN license required at time of submission.

Preferred Experience

• Previous Charge Experience preferred.
• Community Hospital Experience preferred.

Skills

• Must have skills in accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, ortho trauma, oxygen administration, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, peripheral line care/management, peripheral nerve block catheters, phlebotomy, PICC line management, post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, pre/post hemodialysis management, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, renal failure, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, telemetry monitoring, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, total joint replacement, tracheostomy care/management, use of rapid response/code teams, wound care/wound vac.

Additional Requirements

• Two supervisory references required at time of submission.
• Must pass the Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Travelers expected to float unless otherwise stated.
• Must be clean-shaven for fit testing; failures due to facial hair not accepted.
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests will be accommodated.
