About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role involves delivering progressive care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Work in a facility recognized for its supportive culture and commitment to high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active South Dakota RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• Completed an approved nursing education program.
• SSN and DOB required.
• 1 reference within the last 12 months.
• Permanent address over 250 miles from Rapid City, SD.
• EPIC skills checklist within 12 months.
• Reference dated within 12 months for a job worked within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care nursing preferred.
• 5 or more years as a registered nurse or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing recommended.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Pay

Pay Rate: $2634.00 - $2769.00
