About the role

Travel RN PCU job at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Surgery Unit 2 (3EA) provides care for patients with trauma, sepsis, stroke, cardiac, hematology/oncology, and medical-surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide progressive care nursing services in a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize BIPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, Plum360 IV pumps, and tele interpretation
• Maintain National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Requirements

• Registered Nurse, PCU
• Minimum 2 years of experience (18 months within the last 3 years)
• Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Duration: 9 weeks
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• 36 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Compact RN License In-Hand
• Previous Travel Experience
• EPIC EMR

Pay

Pay Rate: $2450.00 - $2576.00 (based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
