Travel Progressive Care RN - $2,435 per week

About the role

Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit. Discipline: RN. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment type: Travel. The unit has 20 acute beds and 35 floor beds, handles trachs/vents/BiPAPs, and is a step‑down unit caring for cardio/pulmonary patients with a mix of other acuities. Current patient ratio is 1:4 on the medical side and 1:2‑3 in the PCU. Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota – known as the “Gateway to the Plains” with sprawling plains, waterfalls, a revitalized arts and culture scene, and a blend of historical and modern lifestyles.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license – Compact accepted
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• At least one professional reference in work history
• EPIC experience (preferred)
• Travel experience (preferred)

Pay

Pay rate: $2,374.00 – $2,496.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours/week).
