About the role

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Rockford, Illinois. Start date 09/28/2026, duration 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. The role involves delivering specialized care to patients needing close monitoring, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with physicians and the clinical team, documenting care, managing complex cases, coordinating care, and educating patients and families about treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Intermediate Care experience
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in progressive care or stepdown nursing (recommended)
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Two professional references from the last 12 months

Pay

Pay rate: $2,038.00 – $2,143.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts). The overall package includes a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
