About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and surgical needs.
- Assist with post-operative recovery.
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications.
- Document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Requirements
- Current South Dakota RN license (compact accepted).
- At least 2 years of recent experience in orthopedics or surgical nursing.
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a collaborative team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1 reference in the last 12 months.

Pay
Pay Rate: $1961.00 - $2062.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
Schedule
12-hour day shifts. Duration: 15 weeks, 36 hours per week. Start Date: 10/25/2026.
