Responsibilities

• Care for patients who need advanced cardiac monitoring and stepdown care in a hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and support patients recovering from acute cardiac events
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

Required qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Experience in progressive care or cardiac stepdown units
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• SSN required
• DOB required
• 1 reference in entire work history
• Perm address over 50 miles
• Pre/post Cath Lab patient experience

Skills

• Strong critical thinking
• Cardiac monitoring experience
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient status

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Rate: $1914.00 - $2012.00.
