Travel Progressive Care RN - $1,860 per week

About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Midland, Michigan. The position is a 13‑week travel contract at a Magnet‑recognized teaching hospital with advanced technologies and a broad range of specialty services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in the PCU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
• Document patient information and interventions in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Michigan RN license or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation.
• At least 2 years of recent progressive care unit nursing experience.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.

• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Professional nursing organization membership (preferred).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification (valued).
