About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Preoperative for a 13-week assignment starting September 21, 2026, in Santa Rosa, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preoperative assessments and preparations
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Manage patient flow and ensure timely procedures
- Provide emotional and informational support to patients and families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current California RN license
- Experience in preoperative care preferred
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
