Travel Preop/PACU RN, Outpatient Surgery - $2,461 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The role has an on-call requirement of roughly 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period. Weeknight call hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM, and weekend call hours are from 7 AM to 7 AM. Shifts vary from: 6 AM to 6 PM, 7 AM to 7 PM, 8 AM to 8 PM, 9 AM to 9 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
  • Maintain and monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress in the PACU.
  • Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
  • Manage pain control and address any complications promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Current RN license required.
  • Completion of the Rhythm Interpretation Exam before onboarding.
  • Proof of immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test required during onboarding.
  • Driver's License/State ID required.
  • Completion of background check and drug screen as part of the onboarding process.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
