About the role

Home Care Services of Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Travel Physical Therapist to provide in-home rehabilitative care across Haywood and Buncombe Counties, NC. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, mileage reimbursement, and a productivity expectation of 30 points per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver start-of-care, evaluations, reassessments, and routine visits in patient homes
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and patient goals
• Provide gait training, strengthening, balance work, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training
• Complete accurate and timely charting, preferably in HCHB
• Teach home exercise programs, safety strategies, and functional mobility techniques
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care
• Travel between visits across multiple counties with reimbursed mileage

Requirements

• Active NC Physical Therapist License
• Home health experience
• Reliable transportation

• HCHB Experience
• Strong communication and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently across multiple coverage areas

Schedule & Work Details

• Hours: 8 hours/day
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Coverage Area: Haywood & Buncombe Counties, NC
• Mileage: Reimbursed between visits (first patient to last)
• Productivity: 30 points/week
• On-Call/Weekends: None
• Dress Code: Dark blue/gray scrubs or business casual

Pay

$53/hr
