Travel Postpartum RN - $2,381 per week

About the Role

Travel RN – Postpartum position at a Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, Wisconsin. Start date 10/12/2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care for patients including antepartum, postpartum, GYN surgeries, and labor & delivery (> 35 weeks).
• Assist the charge nurse and take patients as needed.
• Draw blood and perform bedside FHM documentation.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and operate Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.
• Float to inpatient units to act as a sitter or in a CNA role when required.
• Participate in orientation (at least one shift) to learn unit flow.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of RN experience in postpartum/L&D, nursery, or related obstetric care.
• Patient ratios: Laboring – 1:1; Couplets mixed with antepartum/surgical – 1:3.
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM.
• Adequate PPE and COVID‑19 vaccination compliance.
• References: 1 reference within the last 12 months (2 years preferable); skills checklist within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed for postpartum care.
• Valid SSN and date of birth on file.

Skills

• Experience with labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum units.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to operate Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis dispensing systems.
• Flexibility to float to other inpatient areas as needed.

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend.
• Up to 7 days of approved time off during the assignment.
• On‑call duties vary based on contract.

Pay

• Rate: $2,321.00 – $2,440.00 (per week, subject to confirmation).
