About the role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum nursing care in the facility’s maternity unit
- Support mothers and newborns through recovery and education
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Required qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license
- At least 2 years of recent postpartum nursing experience (posting also states 3 years in another section)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NRP-AHA certification
- SSN and DOB required
- 1 reference in entire work history
Preferred skills
- Strong assessment skills
- Patient education abilities
- Ability to respond quickly in urgent situations
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Start date: 9/28/2026
Pay
- Pay Rate: $2281.00 - $2398.00 per week
