About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. This position is a travel nursing assignment at Wesley Medical, a 760-bed teaching hospital and Level I trauma center with advanced maternal and neonatal care and a dedicated postpartum unit. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, featuring attractions like the Sedgwick County Zoo, and is centrally located about 2.5 hours from Kansas City.

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care as a Registered Nurse in a dedicated postpartum unit
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current nursing licensure (Compact accepted; copy needed)
• 2 years of recent postpartum experience
• BLS certification (copy needed)
• NRP-AHA AAP - NRP Advanced certification (copy needed)
• SSN and DOB required
• Work history should not have more than a 90-day gap in the last 1 year
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills

• Meditech experience

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
