Job Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts nursing license (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration
- MGB Skills Checklist must be completed within 1 year of submission
- 2 references within 4 years of submission, minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset
- Past 7 years of work experience with city & state
- Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date and updated annually
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
- Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break
- National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually
- MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions
- Education verification through background check company
- MGB SSN Trace must be run with criminal check
Schedule Information
- Every Other Week (EOW)
- Every Other Holiday (EOH)
- 3 shifts of 12 hours rotation

- Postpartum unit
Additional Details
- MGB Badge Photo required for onboarding: color photo taken in past 6 months, plain background, no filters or eyeglasses
- Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred or proof of immunity or declination
- Tdap vaccine preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration
- Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation
- MGB Name Change Documentation if credential documentation does not match current legal name
- MGB TB Symptom Survey required if positive PPD, updated annually
- MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission to initial assignment and new facility
