Travel Post Partum RN - $2,902 per week

About the Role

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care for a 13-week travel assignment in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role involves providing exceptional care for postpartum patients, including those recovering from vaginal and c-section deliveries. The unit has 13 Postpartum beds and a Continuing Care Nursery.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV antibiotics, magnesium, and manage postpartum hemorrhage
• Utilize equipment such as Welch Allyn blood pressure monitors and Medela breast pumps
• Provide care for newborns
• Deliver compassionate patient education and collaborate effectively within a team

Requirements

• Active AHA BLS and NRP certifications
• At least one year of postpartum nursing experience
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Lactation certification preferred
• Travel experience advantageous, but first-time travelers are welcome
• Mandatory weekend and holiday rotation
• Adherence to flu vaccination requirements during the season
