About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a 13-week assignment in Somerset, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Assist Healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
- Maintain and record patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
Requirements
- RN's a minimum of 1 year in specialty
- Allied 6 months of experience
- An adventurous spirit and fierce dedication
- Appropriate certifications and licensure as needed for the specific position
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
- Degree from an accredited school
- Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
- Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of polysomnography techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
