Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Polysomnographer/Sleep Tech for a 13-week assignment in Albany, Oregon. The position requires one year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech and a valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license. Preferred qualifications include a Registered Sleep Technologist Certification (CPSGT or RPSGT).

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a sleep technology program.
• One year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech required.
• Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations.

Essential Work Functions

• Review patient history and verify orders.
• Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing.
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data.
• Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data.
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results.
• Implement appropriate interventions as necessary.
