About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a position in Ames, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography procedures to monitor sleep patterns and diagnose sleep disorders.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPT) from the American Association of Sleep Medicine (AASM).
- Experience in performing polysomnography procedures.
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and diagnostic techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized polysomnography training program.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
