Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Polysomnographer for a 13-week assignment in Detroit, Michigan. The position starts on July 20, 2026, and involves 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Special Requirements
Successful completion of a sleep technology program. One year of recent experience as a polysomnographer/sleep tech required. Valid Sleep Technician/Polysomnography license in compliance with state regulations. Registered Sleep Technologist Certification (CPSGT or RPSGT) preferred.
Essential Work Functions
- Review patient history and verify orders
- Provide education to patient and/or family members for either in-center or at-home testing
- Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data
- Identify, correct, and document artifacts to maintain the integrity of the recorded data
- Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of results
- Implement appropriate interventions as necessary
- Auxiliary in scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events
- Follow sleep center policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of a Polysomnographer/Sleep Technician

- Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
