Travel PICU RN - $2,329 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PICU RN for a travel nursing assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

About the Role

This 13-week assignment begins on August 24, 2026, with a requirement of 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. The role is ideal for a registered nurse with pediatric intensive care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administration of blood and blood products
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line and implanted line care
• Infection control and PPE management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Pediatric dosage calculations
• PICC line management
• PICU patient care for adolescents, infants, and pediatrics
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as required
• Weekend coverage

Requirements

• 2 years of PICU experience required
• Active Indiana RN license (must be in hand prior to submission; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications are submitted)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program completion
• Two supervisor references
• SSN and DOB required at time of submittal
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

• Patient ratios: 2 patients per nurse (days/nights/weekends)
