Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pediatric care for patients up to 25 years old in a hospital setting.
• Monitor epilepsy and perform specialized assessments including EKG interpretation.
• Administer inotropes and respond to arrhythmia monitoring, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Utilize certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS during patient care and procedures.
• Work at least every other holiday as part of the shift schedule.

Requirements

• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience will suffice).
• Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care of all ages up to 25 years.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EKGs and inotropes.
• NIHHS certification preferred.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Qualivis - Lotus will be used for submitting hours worked.

Pay

Pay range: $2,445.20 - $2,567.46 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week).

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:30.
