About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in San Antonio, Texas. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
The role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients in the intensive care setting, ensuring a welcoming and child-focused environment.
Requirements
- 1 year of PICU experience
- Registered Nurse license (Compact Accepted)
- Certifications: BLS-AHA, PALS-AHA
- SSN and DOB required
- Work history with no more than 90 days of gap in the last year

Facility Details: 198-bed facility with a 24-bed PICU unit, 1:1-3 staffing, play rooms on every floor, valet parking, a 32-bed Pediatric Emergency room, 17-bed Pediatric ICU, Level 4 Neonatal ICU, pediatric operating suites, and special outpatient clinics for children with complex illnesses.
