Travel PICU Registered Nurse - $2,405 per week

About the role

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Iowa. The role involves providing specialized critical care to infants, children, and teens within a state‑of‑the‑art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, with opportunities to float to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Emergency Department (ED), and general pediatric units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality pediatric critical care
• Managing ventilators, high flow oxygen, and advanced infusion pumps in a private‑room environment
• Floating to the NICU, Pediatric ED, and general pediatric units as needed
• Working holiday shifts
• Potential minimal on‑call responsibilities

Requirements

• Iowa or multistate compact registered nurse license
• Minimum 24 months of current Pediatric Intensive Care experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

Skills

• Experience with ventilators, high flow therapy, Alaris IV pumps, and feeding pumps
• Functional skills in EPIC electronic medical record system
• Willingness to float to NICU and Pediatric ED when needed
• Ability to work holiday shifts and handle minimal on‑call responsibilities

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
