Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift; 8 hours per day; minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: American Board Medical Physicist (ABMP) or American Board Radiology (ABR)
• Licensure: Valid California licensure
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience
• Skills: Experience with radiation therapy treatment parameters, High Dose Radiation (HDR), and brachytherapy units

Additional Unit Information

Provides care to adult and geriatric patients receiving radiation therapy, acts as part of the radiation therapy planning team, and supports quality assurance efforts. Participates in training staff on new equipment and treatment modalities.

Compliance & Submission

• Candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Provide 7-year work history verification
• Submit all documentation at least 10 days prior to start date
• References from within the last year are required, with two references needed

RTO & Holiday Policy

• Max one holiday request per contract, with holidays observed from 7:00 PM the night before to 7:00 AM the day after

Modules & Orientation

• Average non-billable modules of 1-5 hours, recorded through e-learning

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
