Key Responsibilities
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and daily activities
- Set up and maintain therapy equipment
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare team
- Ensure a safe environment following protocols
- Participate in quality improvement and discharge planning
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid PTA license, current BLS certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use
- Physical ability to assist with patient movements and lift equipment
- Able to work under supervision, handle multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
