Responsibilities
- Aid in therapeutic exercises
- Operate medical equipment
- Document patient progress
- Inform patients and caregivers about treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient mobility and independence
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (preferred)
- Experience in the field is preferred but not required for new graduates
