About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Implementing treatment plans to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence
- Guiding exercises, assisting with transfers, and educating patients and caregivers on home programs
- Sets up therapy equipment
- Makes rounds to monitor patient progress
- Documents sessions accurately
- Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Possess a valid PTA license
- Hold a BLS certification
- Show strong interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities
- Display excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Prior experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome
