Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Provide therapy services to patients with diverse diagnoses, ensuring quality care and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current active state license
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Recent experience in a SNF setting is preferred
• Must complete drug and background screens
• Provide supervisory professional references
• Possess PTA skills and knowledge
• Excellent communication and patient management skills are essential

Additional Requirements

• Must have COVID and flu vaccines
• CPR certification
• NPI form
• Pass required skills and testing assessments
• Submit references
• Participate in onboarding processes
