Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.
• Tasks include setting up equipment, guiding exercises, monitoring progress, documenting sessions, educating patients and caregivers, ensuring safety, collaborating with healthcare team, and participating in discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment and engage in professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid PTA license, current BLS certification, excellent communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and motor skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, work effectively under supervision, and maintain professionalism with diverse personnel and patients.

Key Duties

• Support patient recovery through hands-on therapy, record progress accurately, instruct on home exercises, and collaborate with team members to optimize care.
