Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant needed for a travel assignment in Goldthwaite, Texas. This rehabilitation-focused position starts July 27, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PTA services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation environment
• Implement and progress treatment plans through therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and modality application
• Monitor patient responses, adjust activities, and document progress in patient records
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8–10 patients, addressing a mix of adults and older adolescents (ages 13+)
• Maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols, and uphold infection control standards

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas
• Graduation from an accredited PTA program (associate degree)
• Prior outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and participate in a travel assignment
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with a patient-centered approach
