Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $2,593 per week

About the role

Noor Inc. is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Petaluma, California.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist in accordance with physician treatment plans
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per Physical Therapy Board requirements
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services
• Absorb and assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed
• Participate in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility
• Absorb and assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and report any equipment issues

Requirements

• Must be proficient in computer skills including data entry into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the state board
• Must meet continuing education requirements per state practices

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing with the state board
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Proficiency in computer systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
