Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $2,089 per week

About the role

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week position in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The position is 40 hours per week, with a 10-hour shift, days, and includes an orientation. The PTA must have at least one year of clinical experience and a flexible schedule is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Arizona
• At least one year of clinical experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
