Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $2,036 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Artesia, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient positioning, mobility training, and equipment setup.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current state license and a minimum of one year's experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• A current Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or successful completion of the NPTE for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Skills

Preferred skills include:

• Experience working in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
