Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $2,026 per week

About the role

Vibra Travels is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Delaware, Ohio. This position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is part of a competitive travel program.

Responsibilities

• Support physical therapy services in a hospital or Inpatient Rehabilitation setting
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Absorb and document patient progress in electronic medical record systems
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment required
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients
• Experience implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Ability to assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Familiarity with documentation standards and electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams

Pay
