American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a home health contract assignment in Boone, North Carolina. The position starts immediately and lasts for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one, high-touch care to patients in their homes, including PTA-specific assessments.
• Conduct skilled therapy visits and perform comprehensive evaluations.
• Create and manage individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a PTA.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Willingness to obtain North Carolina licensure.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Local and traveler friendly.
• No travel stipend available for local candidates.
• Travel reimbursement available for travelers.
