About the role

Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Oakland, California.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and implement treatment plans for patients under the supervision of physical therapists.
  • Work closely with patients to help them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
  • Create a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.

  • Pass all credentialing requirements.
