About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting licensed physical therapists in providing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in conducting evaluations and treatment sessions
- Help patients perform exercises and maintain their physical therapy regimens
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
