About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in the provision of patient care
  • Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
  • Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
  • Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Passing scores on the NCLEX-PN or EMT-B required

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
