About the role
We’re seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. This is a travel assignment with an anticipated start date of ASAP, lasting 13 weeks. The position requires 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
- Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
- Works to diminish or correct pathology and promote and maintain health.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
- Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice (California).
- Current BLS certification.
