About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- PA PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Pay
- $1,766.49 - $1,821.12 / week
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days (5x8)
