Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position in a healthcare organization. This role involves assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, training patients in the use of assistive devices, and using various modalities to support patient recovery. The position spans approximately three months, starting in late August 2026, with a focus on outpatient therapy services and patient safety.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment goals and assist with therapeutic interventions
- Train patients in locomotion and demonstrate use of modalities such as whirlpools and ultrasound
- Maintain safety and infection control standards
- Document patient progress and educate patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Display a customer service attitude and adhere to clinic policies and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School
- CAPTE Certified
- 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience
- CPR Certification
- Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed
- 6 months of experience

- Prior successful assignment with your agency or with the organization
- Previous experience with the organization
