About the role
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Anaconda, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform tasks such as positioning patients, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with equipment setup
- Help maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and assist with patient education
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
