Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,768 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week assignment in Newcastle, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist in patient care activities such as positioning, transferring, and mobility exercises.
• Administer treatments as prescribed by physical therapists, including heat/cold therapy, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

• Current state license and at least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or successful completion of the NPTE for Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Must meet other requirements set by the client facility.

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must possess a current state license and a minimum of one year's experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Additional qualifications may vary based on the client facility.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in using medical equipment are essential.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
