About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 14-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities such as exercise, stretching, and mobility training.
- Help maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
