About the role
OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
- Assist in patient care activities such as exercise instruction, equipment setup, and documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Louisiana.
- A valid BLS/AHA certification or compact.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of physical therapy principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.

Pay
