About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist in patient care activities including but not limited to patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Perform tasks such as positioning, mobilization, and exercise instruction as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
Requirements
- Current state license and at least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program or passing the NPTE for Physical Therapy Assistants.
- Other requirements may vary based on the client facility.
