About the role

Critical Connection, Inc. is seeking a travel Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapist for a position in Newport, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide 1:1 patient care focused on functional improvement and recovery
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT
  • Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
  • Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active (or pending) state PTA license
  • New Grad PTAs welcome
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Experience in an outpatient orthopedic / sports medicine setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
