About the role

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week position starting August 24, 2026, in Monterey, California.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
  • Absorb and assist with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and mobility
  • Monitor patient response and report progress
  • Document treatments and patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Active (or pending) state PTA license

Qualifications

  • New grad PTAs are welcome with structured supervision and mentorship

Skills

  • Skilled in delivering physical therapy treatments
  • Experience with patient care in acute and inpatient settings
